The two components of dinocap have their own ISO common names, dinocap-4 [875690-85-0] and dinocap-6 [875695-92-4]. The mixture normally contains between 4 and 5 parts of dinocap-6 to 2 parts of dinocap-4. The most active compound is (RS)-2-(1-methylheptyl)-4,6-dinitrophenyl (2E)-2-butenoate [131-72-6], which is the major component of meptyldinocap. |
